SR's Favorite Links
The following is a list of sites I frequent, organized by category (but in no particular order within the
categories):
Friends / Fellow TF/Furry Authors (who have web pages)
- Feech and Channing: These two are among the
nicest people I know, as well as a couple of the most talented authors who submit stories to the TSA-Talk mailing list.
Be sure to check out Channing's Mundementia One universe, as well as Feech's introspective Tales of the Blind
Pig stories.
- Raven Blackmane: Raven's
The Long Night's Journey Into Morning brought tears to my eyes the first time I read it. She is probably
one of the most compassionate members of the TSA-Talk mailing list. Be sure to check out her Metamor Keep
Lightbringer stories.
- The Otter's Pond: Maintained
by Oren the Otter, one of TSA-Talks most playful (and prolific) authors, you'll find all things that interest small mustelids
here!
- Brian Eric Coe: Another of TSA-Talk's
prolific writers, this time a raccoon. One thing that strikes me about Brian's writing is his diverse style.
Be sure to check out his Little Boy Lost.
- Andrew Kilpatrick: He's not a furry artist,
but definitely one of my best friends from Real Life (tm).
- Robert Luca: Be sure to
check out Robert's A Leopard's Tail. Robert impresses me with how able he is to take an extraordinary
situation and apply it to ordinary people.
- Deranged Kitsune: A fellow fox
on the fritz, Deranged's stories are simply among the most though-provoking and entertaining of the authors of
TSA-Talk. Yes, this fox knows how to write well.
- Charles Matthias: Another of the most talented
authors TSA-Talk has to offer, MattRat is also among the nicest. Be sure to check out his many and varied
Metamor Keep stories!
- Fox Cutter: Fox is the instigator and maintainer
of the Furry-Lit mailing list, and one heck of an author. Be sure to check out his A Fox in the Works
series.
- Straker Skunk: Straker's Double Stripes
series is (IMO) one of the most original Science Fiction storylines with a transformation/furry theme.
Definitely a must see.
- Phaedrus: I consider
Phaedrus one of those unrecognized greats. Every story on his site is at least worth reading, but be sure
to check out Wishes and A Trickster's Tail.
- Jason Lehrer: Another of the unsung legends,
Jason's I.D.I.C. series is not to pass up for any TF or science fiction fan.
- Joanne Rosemary Hunter: I sometimes have the pleasure of running into
this wonderful vixen on IRC. Not only is she a great person to know, but she writes well (if a little bit squirrelly). :)
- Jon Sleeper: Also known as JonBuck, this perhaps
too-humble-for-his-own-good cervine author sometimes graces the TSA-Talk list with his masterful tales of transformation. Be sure
to check out his collaboration with Brian Coe: The Gift.
- W.O.L.F.: W.O.L.F. is one of first people I met on the TSA-List. He has been and I imagine will always be one of my best friends on the 'net. (He is also the first author ever to give me a cameo! Check out his Gifts from the Gods.)
TF / Furry Literary Archives
- Thomas Hassan's Transformation Story Archive:
Again, this is the place that started it all. Although not the difinitive source for your transformation
needs, it most certainly is the largest transformation-only archive in the world. A must see for those
interested in this portion of the science fiction / fantasy genre.
Mia's collection of assorted furriness. This is the
place to go if you're looking for a furry story that has been published on the web. It's currently not being
updated, but it still has links to enough stories to keep you occupied for quite a while.
- Magus T. Fox's TF Story Archive:
Maintained by one of the staff of this web site, Magus has worked hard to put together an extensive archive of
transformation/furry stories.
- Transform.to: Although not technically an archive, The
Dragon De Monsyne has set up this server to (among other things) host web pages for creators of transformation-related art, including
both literature and visual arts. Several of the subscribers to TSA-Talk have their pages hosted here.
- TransFUR.com: This was the original home for my Hole in the Ground.
Again, here you'll find the pages of many talented transformation / furry artists.
TF / Furry Visual Art Archives
The "squeaky-clean furry archive." This is probably my favorite place to go for
furry art. Be sure to check out the work of Scotty Arsenault and Albert Temple.
FURnation is probably the largest archive of furry art on the planet. Even with a very
fast connection, this site has enough art to keep you busy for weeks. Warning: Adult content
here.
- The Orlando Furry Archives: Probably one of the largest
depositories for furry art, next to FURnation. Warning: Adult content here.
Comics
- Sabrina Online: Probably my favorite
online comic. I'm amazed it hasn't been syndacated. Yet.
- Kevin and Kell: A rather eclectic family in a rather
eclectic world, this daily strip is always good for riotous laughter!
- Calvin and Hobbes: Your favorite
bratty 6-year-old and stuffed tiger.
- Foxtrot: No, not furry / TF, but definitely worth the read.
(Besides, anything with 'Fox' in its name can't be too bad... =^.^=)
- User Friendly: Also not furry / TF. Still,
if you love ripping on Micro$oft, or like Linux or the free software movement, then this is the strip for you!
- The Parking Lot is Full: Sick? Yes. Wrong?
Definitely. Demented? You ain't seen nothin' yet!
- Freefall: I discovered this strip in the summer of '99.
I only wish it were daily. :)
- Sluggy Freelance: Of all the strips I've ever seen this one has the
most an wildest plot twists. (Not to mention the best use of computer-aided drawing I've ever seen.)
- The Changing Workplace: Drawn by
the TSA-Talk list's own Oren the Otter, his strip does a great job reminding us just how much fun transformations can be. (Now if
I can only convince him to give me a cameo as well.) =-.^=
